I am planning on being at Lehman's for most Thurs. this fall and winter with my equine and farm animal art for sale and to participate in painting demos. I will have on hand original art as well as signed prints and notecards. Great gifts and keepsakes of Ohio Amish Country!
I am painting a new addition to the farm animal murals I've already painted in the Buggy Barn at the store. In 2007 I painted a series of outdoor murals consisting of cows, pigs, sheep, donkeys, chickens and a mare and foal. Earlier this year I painted Rex and Roy, the life sized team of Amish work horses at a hitching post. To add atmosphere and some commotion (as hens as prone to do) a wall of roosting hens is also there. I am currently working a mural featuring Ricco, a young frisky, gangling colt poking his nose out from his stall to say hello! Be sure to stop in and say hi the next time you are in Kidron, Ohio!
The pig painting above is part of my pop art farm animal series and was painted on location at a local pumpkin farm this weekend.
