Farm Animal Art

I thought I would share with you some of my more recent Farm Animal Art.

In the background you can see a portrait I have begun from a family vacation a few years ago.
I didn't think about their portrait being in the photo until I posted this. I guess they can be the farmers! :)

As the weather warms up, the pastures and fields are getting a definite tinge of green!! Hooray! I had to laugh yesterday at a rather peculiar site on the other side of my lane. I share a long lane with my Amish neighbors. They have a wooded fenced area that they house a small herd of sheep and goats. The goats and sheep on occasion can be seen grazing on the hill outside of this enclosure. I am not sure if this is by design or happenstance but it does make for a funny scene. I suppose I should explain. Seeing a herd of sheep and goats peacefully grazing on a hill would not be considered 'peculiar' even if they were loose. Anyone who has had goats or sheep know this is not an uncommon occurrence! But what makes it an interesting sight is the hill is also a very old cemetery... "Goats in the Graveyard????" That's a little more unusual.
